Episode 117: Why Movement and Community is Important in Motherhood with Lisa Druxman

In this episode we talk with Lisa Druxman who is the founder of Fit4Mom about how we can use movement to help us navigate motherhood and how finding community and determining our priorities is vital along the journey.

Lisa is not only the founder of Fit4Mom but also a mom of two herself and also the author of two books; The Empowered Mama, which teaches moms how to live their best lives and Lean Mommy, which offers tips on how moms can quickly get back into shape after giving birth.

In this episode we talk about how Fit4Mom was started when she was still on maternity leave and wanted to create a workout with her baby because she didn’t want to leave him. She gathered a few other moms in the neighborhood to join and things simply took off from there. She went on to create what we now know the company to be and it is still growing and shaping with moms in mind.

We also dive deep on other aspects of what her motherhood journey was like and what the past two decades has been like for her. Listen in to gain insight on navigating motherhood as an entrepreneur, how you can find yourself and your strength in motherhood, and how we can focus on what’s most important to us as we enter motherhood.
